Ahasa Tharamata
This Album produced by Sanath Devapriya in 2006 at Sri Lanka contains 18 songs that were music directed by Mr. Mahinda Bandara with his musical band in Sri Lanka. Songs were recorded by Dayananda Perera (TRX Studio, Thalawathugoda, Srilanka) Cover design and photographs by Sisira Wijetunga and Distibuted by Ransilu Label (Ransilu Enterprises). Sanath Devapriya is born in Kuliyapitiya, Sri Lanka and is now living in Hong Kong since 1998. He has done a one man Musical show at " Mog Kok Community Hall' in Hong Kong on January 2006 that was sponsored by Sri Lankan Airlines and Association of Sri Lankans in Hong Kong. After the show in March 2006, he produced his first song album called "Ahasa Tharamata" that we feature in NetCD. He is the first Asian resident to feature a CD in our website. Lyrics for the album is by Shantha Jayalath Thisera, Ravi Siriwardana, Ajantha Ranasinghe, Yamuna Malani Perera, Sunil Dayananda Konara, Rathna Sri Wijesinghe, Nihal Gamhewa, Hemasiri Halpita, Shehan Galahitiyawa, Ven.Kavi Keerthi, K.D.K. Dharmawardana, and W.K.Sarath Wimalasiri. Music were by Shantha Jayalath Thisera, Priyantha Nawalage, Sunil Dayananda Konara, Mahinda Bandara, Rohana Weerasinghe, Nawarathna Gamage, Nihal Gamhewa, and Sarath De Alwis. The CD also includes duet titled "Lanu Mashime” with Nelu Adikari. This album were approved by SLBC ( Srilankan Broadcasting Corporation) and aired in second service (Commercial service) and city FM in 2006/2007. These songs are now playing at web radios called J9 radio, Japan, Mahila Radio, Japan, Jayasri Radio in Sri Lanka and also YouTube and Sinhalajukebox,org etc.
