Upahara Sihiwatana
Upahara Sihiwata is a tribute CD for the legendary Sri Lankan pop artist H R Jothipala who died more than 22 years ago. The CD featuring here contains 20 all time clasics re-sung by Nalin Jayawardena. These 20 songs were sung by H R Jothipala under the music direction of legendary Sri Lankan musicians such as Premasiri Khemadasa, Sarath Dasanayake, M K Roksamy, Shelton Premaratne and Melroy Dharmaratne. Lyrics of these songs are by Karunaratne Abeysekera, Premakeerthi De Alwis, and Kularatne Ariyawansa. Current CD contains new music direction by Sangeeth Wickmarasinghe, Ananda Waidyasekera, and Seeduwa Sakura. It also includes a Tribute song to H R Jothipala to a theme of a popular song by him written by Vicumpriya Perera and music drected by Sangeeth Wickramasinghe. This special NETCD edition contains 03 BONUS tracks by Nalin Jayawardena of 03 additional popular songs of H R Jothipala.
